Chillin' in the Epoch
with my Cryamore
homies! First, got a lot to say here:WAGAN LAND
I recently started drawing a weekly webcomic strip for Namco-Bandai, Wagan Land
. I've been having a blast drawing it!
and myself got some pretty fun ideas prepared for it. I know that a lot of you haven't heard of Wagan as it was a Japanese-only thing before now, but go and check it out; it's a pretty fun little read. If it is read a lot and does well hit-wise, we can keep the series going for a while. It's updated twice a week and you can read it here: Wagan Land on ShiftyLook!COMMISSIONS
I missed my end-of-the-year completion quota for commissions as I didn't expect Wagan Land to get greenlit right at the end of the year. So now that I'm catching up with my buffer for the comic, I can get back to finishing them off, but now that's going to take a few weeks to get back to as we're now planning last-minute stuff for the Kickstarter. There are still a few commissions to give out, so if you have yet to receive yours, please don't panic
! I will email you.
Also, I'm not posting commissions often on my dA anymore, just mainly Original work and Fanart. I still may post a few commissions I think that really came out well here, but for the most part, won't be posting any. I'll post sketches and stuff from the commissions on my Tumblr, which you can follow here if you don't follow me already
ALSO, ALL prints have been shipped out, but I'm worried as I've still yet to get feedback from some people as if they received them or not.
So if you haven't gotten your shipment in, please send me an email at email@example.com
and let me know so we can get that rectified if for any reason you haven't acquired them.CRYAMORE
There are people still finding out I'm working on an Indie game, which is normal. So to say it again:
I'm working on an Independent Action-RPG with tenpoundpixel
. We've been investing ALL of our spare time into producing it and setting up the Kickstarter. We're still getting a lot of awesome feedback from a lot of people, and we can't wait to get started full-time on it and the Kickstarter.
The artsy people in Cryamore also have dA's, you should go check them out and watch them. Here's a summary of who does what:
is my partner-in-cryme, and we're piggybacking tasks off of each other; design, art, and programming.
is the VFX Supervisor, Pixel Artist, and Assistant Coder. You should really check out his game Zombie Grinder.
Online Co-Op Zombies Ate My Neighbors/Super Smash TV
hybrid. You'll dig it.
is the Lead Pixel Artist and Animator. I'm sure you've been seeing his awesome stuff already.
, that "Skullgirls and Scott Pilgrim girl", is the Lead Animator and Pixel Artist. She's also going to most likely dabble in character/creature design as well. Really excited to have her onboard.
is helping me out as Background Assistant, so she'll be coloring/rendering environments with me.
will be working on rough animation stuff, and will be directing the voice acting if it's successful. I mean, we think the KS video's voice actin-- (oops, saying too much now!).
All in all, everyone's working well together and its a pretty nice family we've got going on.
The Kickstarter launches on January 25th
, so get ready
. We have some goodies prepared.
There will be an artbook, with guest art (from a lotta people like
and more) and concept art. (OOOOH...!)
There will be a 40+ song digital and physical soundtrack. (AHHHH...!)
There will be 9-inch Bliss and Esmy figurines. (WHOAAAAA...!)
And more stuffz. So if you want to get caught up, here's our DevBlog to catchup: Cryamore Devblog!
Also, that means
is starting back up. We'll be directing most Cryamore art-related things there! It's going to get a bit busy there, so watch us there! And you can check out all the art we've done so far on Creative Uncut!
Thanks for reading, and back to work for me!
