Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:
Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang. :D
The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Cryamore Demo on the Horizon (New Gameplay Video)

Hey everyone! We've been working like mad for this demo (GDC WEEK IS IN ONE WEEK, YIKES!), so I did a lil' gameplay recording teasing what we're throwing in so far. Of course, a lot of what you see is all Work-In-Progress, and we still have a lot to throw in this week (voice acting, cleaning up assets, events, etc.), so you're going to see a big change from the demo's release.

Take a look, and do it in 720p and fullscreen to get the full effect!

Holy sheeeit it looks really good so far! Amazing! I will be purchasing it for sure once it's out. I can imagine how tough and time consuming it is to make a game. It'll be worth it, I'm sure.

Dag dude, this is really shaping up like a winner man! I don't play games as much as I used to.. kinda got lost in all this High Definition FPSs and anally Visual Final Fantasy CRACK types we've been bombarded with as of late. I miss the GOOD, WHOLESOME games that had a nice mad good story to tell while humbly showing off the beauty visually.

This is essentially picking up where the SNES left off. I can't wait to see this on the Marketplace for the PS4 or even XBOX 720 ish Haha! Much good luck and keep grinding at that rock man, get us that perfect Diamond we're so excitedly waiting for!
