Riot by Robaato Riot by Robaato
Riot is a Rebel Piraxan. He's Fité's right-hand man, and is very loyal to him. He is typically very sarcastic and somewhat of a smart-aleck. He's extremely prejudiced against humans, specifically for the way Fité was treated in the past by them. In comparison to Fité, who's typically reserved, Riot usually goes off before thinking and is quick to act, even sometimes without Fité's approval.

While Fité specializes in Fire Cryamore condensing, Riot developed a method of condensing polarized Lightning Cryamore; being highly skilled in separating common particles like electrons and photons and gathering them into muons, even being able to control taus (a very unstable particle) at will. This means that he can control negative or positive electromagnetic waves by choice, but also can combine them. With this, he's able to diffuse magnetic forces around him which also means he can control magnetism or even nuclear energy at will, without even using Space Cryamore.

Rebel Piraxans are Piraxan people who go against the commonly ordained law of not using Cryamore. They're usually associated with Fité zo Rala, who is known as one of the first Piraxans to deliberately defy that law.

Riot was designed by the homie :iconoverlordjc:, his first lead design on the project!!

Reminds me of Rei from Breath of Fire 3 for the PS1!
Looks awesome!
Was there any inspiration from Rei while creating this character?

How does one make a drawing of this quality at such a low resolution? Is it worked in a higher res then brought down? Or do you work in a low one all the way through? I upped the DPI from the initial 72 I was working in to 300, and then from that to 600. Any tips?

Yeah, this was completed at 200DPI than exported to a separate smaller image file for web viewing.

I usually draw at 100DPI, upscale to 200/DPI and sharpen the lines, then color it. If it's a 300 DPI image for the end result, I'd draw it in 150DPI and upscale to 300. Because it's easier to control your strokes with fewer dots-per-inch.
