I don't do this often, but a lot of people have been asking about my process for coloring in
. So, I've decided to provide you all with a PSD, in full resolution, of the layer order that I use. CLICK DOWNLOAD TO THE RIGHT TO DOWNLOAD THE PSD AND CHECK IT OUT!
Note that by default, it's a Photoshop Document, so you can open it in PS with no problem, as Sketchbook uses the same blending modes from PS. But in Sketchbook Pro, you're limited as to what you can do when it comes to layer blending modes, as Sketchbook only has 3 of them (Multiply, Add, and Screen), so I have to color a bit different than my norm. But working with limitations and experimenting is good & definitely fun anyway, and mainly the reason I enjoy coloring in Sketchbook Pro so much!
So you can see my process of coloring in the software and study it and break things down for whatever you want to do, either in SBP or Photoshop or SAI or whatever software you like to use as it's pretty universal tech.CLICK DOWNLOAD TO THE RIGHT TO DOWNLOAD THE PSD AND CHECK IT OUT!
Deuces! Oh yeah! Megaman Legends
have been on my brain a lot lately, and I always liked Matilda's
design a lot! Actually, Ishikawa
is a true senpai of mine. Wish there was more of his work out there beyond his Megaman stuff.
