Used the Elliptical Marquee Tool to make a circle selection. Right-clicked and selected Stroke..., put the pixel width in, location on Center. Went to Layer, Layer Style, Outer Glow... to give it a glowing effect. Went to Edit, Transform, Distort to play with the circle direction and arc. Then went to Filter, Radial Blur... to play with the look of the swooping light. Shine in her hand was a brush I created with the same kinda Layer Style applied to it.
It does! Thank you! But I'm gonna have a hard time recreating the shining light that you have in her hand. lol And I guess while I'm at it, I'll ask: "How do you create a brush?" Because I need all the help I can get.
Whoa. Never before have I seen such a scantily scale-clad woman with this kind of figure. I understand that this isn't your character, but that's irrelevant. Normally, I have conflicting feelings about animal features, but pictures that meet my standards of quality tend to be somewhat few, so in this case, I don't give a damn. What can I say? I love it. I know you've heard that countless times before, and I'm not all that great with complimenting technical prowess, but I can tell that you are very skilled. If there is one thing that I want to comment on, it is the fact that you took a character that was modestly interesting and made it your own. Maybe that's just my love for these kinds of voluptuous women talking, but I'd say this is a great piece regardless. And I thought no other icon better expressed my feelings better than this: Good day to you.
Nice dude - great piece! Everything about the gesture looks spot on! I dig how she's physically intimidating but her expression is really kind. The light from the energy in her hand is snazzy. Anyhow, nicely done!
