I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for the help, encouragement, and support they've given me in my time of need. Your comments, thoughtful gestures, and fellow feeling has proved a great source of encouragement for me as my family and I were going through a hard time. I think it's safe to say, you guys have a part in keeping me from losing my mind. Thank you, once again. I am working secularly once again, at another hotel position, where I'm able to draw as well and work on commissions and the like. The real killer about this is that the nights are so quiet, I have no one looking over my shoulder, and a real nice schedule with great pay. I couldn't ask for anything greater at the moment.

I've done so much work while on my "unofficial" hiatus. Commissions, prepping an artbook soon to release, preparing for conventions I'm attending this year, the list goes on and on. Over the course of the next few days, expect to see a lot of work from me.

I have my VERY FIRST Artbook coming out, entitled: MUSTART: Art of Robert Porter Vol. 1

It is 40 pages in 8x10 in., in full color inside out, of some new work and some of my best. It will be on sale at Otakon, in Baltimore, MD July 17-19 and at Chicago Comic-Con, in Chicago, IL August 6-9 for $20 bucks and will also include a waist up sketch if you score one from me at the convo.

Hey, hey! I will be attending Otakon in Baltimore, MD with a SPECTACULAR group of folks! I will be doing 11x14 Bristol commission sketches for $15, selling my Artbook MUSTART, and just generally hanging out drawin and having fun. Stop by if you're going! So, as I've sent the message to a few of my giant project commission clients, my workload is going to be a bit slow trying to manage commissions and prints and travel and everything.

I'm also going to be at the Chicago Comic Con (formerly Wizard World Chicago) with again, and as well! It's been a while since we've all met up, but this year for SURE will be a BLAST! Chamba's selling his 50+ page artbook there and along with Bob selling his artbook and Coran his, don't have too much news on them yet, but they're packin some serious heat with prints and stuffs too!
